Very close for most people. Monthly payments are estimated using current average APR rates for each credit tier and current MSRP/market prices. Your actual payment will vary based on your credit score, down payment, and dealer negotiation. The gas cost and reimbursement math is exact — those numbers come directly from what you enter.
The report still works great — just set your reimbursement rate to $0. You'll see a pure cost comparison showing which car has the lowest total monthly cost for your exact driving pattern. Many people use it this way to find the most economical car for high-mileage commutes.
